My prayer for you as we are closing a door of 2024

Closing the door, but don’t leave everything behind!

As we close out 2024 and enter into this new year full of possibilities and hope, 

I pray we continue our theme of

Drawing Near to God!   Let’s bring it with us into 2025 and use it as a springboard into our 2025 ABIDE IN HIM.  

I learned this while praying for direction during the creation process of our 2025 calendar.   I knew the theme of that calendar is important because it becomes like a road map for almost everything we do in 2025.   In asking Him for the focus word, the word ABIDE kept coming to me.  

As I began looking up verses and studying, I realized that Drawing Near and Abide build on each other.   It was as if HE was saying "Come closer….AND Stay!"   It gave my heart the biggest smile and so much joy to see a glimpse of how HE causes all things to work together!

So sweet friend, I’m so honored to be a small part of what HE is doing IN us and Through us!   

I think we have SO much to look forward to in this coming year.    I believe our FATHER has invited us to Come Closer,  learn more about ME….get to know ME better…..  

But that’s not all!    Don’t leave so quickly….STAY!    I have so much more to show you.   

HE is such a good, good Father!  He is our Help.   He will Establish us.   He will not forsake those who seek Him!

My prayer for you and for me….

I pray that you continue Drawing Near to HIM and

• become so Familiar with:
• ••HIS VOICE SO THAT you quickly recognize when words are NOT His voice.  

Your enemy speaks to you to condemn & enslave you.  

God speaks to you in a voice of LOVE to convict and free you.  

• ••HIS WAYS so that you remember anything that happens to you must have first been filtered through HIS hands of LOVE
• ••HIS PRESENCE so that you when you drift from HIM, you will QUICKLY recognize and miss HIS presence and immediately Draw Near    Amen!

In 2025 we will be intentional and dig deep into knowing HIS Name and Abiding in Him.    I believe Knowing Him will make it easier to trust Him and ABIDE there
