He Calms the Storm

One of my favorite places to visit is the ocean.  It reminds me of the power of God.  It reminds me that HE alone is THE Creator of all.  Watching the ocean water eases my heart and calms my mind.

Watching the sunset is my favorite time of day. It reminds me that HIS mercies are new every morning!  HE is strong and mighty. HE is in control, even in the midst of the storms of life.  HE is in control even in the heartbreak. HE is in control even when the waves of life are crashing hard against my mind, body and emotions. HE is stable and secure even when it feels that everything is giving way beneath me.

FATHER help me remember who YOU are in the rough waters AND in the calm.  

Help me keep my eyes on you!
