A New Month, A New Name of Jesus: What We’re Exploring in February

February is here, and with it comes a fresh invitation to slow down, open our journals, and spend intentional time with the Name of Jesus we’re focusing on this month.

If you’re new around here—or if you’re joining us through the Follow Him Workshop—welcome. This month is designed to meet you right where you are, whether you’ve been lettering and journaling for years or you’re just beginning to explore using creativity as part of your faith walk.

Our February Focus: A New Name of Jesus

Each month inside Creative Hearts Studio, we focus on a different Name of Jesus and explore what it reveals about His character and His relationship with us. February brings new scripture verses, new lettering opportunities, and new ways to reflect visually and prayerfully in our journals.

Rather than rushing through verses, we’re taking time to:

• Sit with the words

• Practice lettering in a relaxed, approachable way

• Use our journals as a space for prayer, reflection, and response

This rhythm is intentional. Creativity helps us slow down long enough to truly listen.

Lettering at Lunch: A Weekly Touchpoint

Every Tuesday at noon, we gather for Lettering at Lunch, a casual live time where I introduce the week’s verse, share lettering tips, and give encouragement for using your journal without pressure or perfection.

Each verse is also available as a lettering traceable inside Creative Hearts Studio, so you can trace, practice, or reuse it throughout your journal in whatever way feels right to you.

Bringing It All Together with Art Printables

One of my favorite things about February is how easily everything works together.

This month, we’re:

• Creating dividers for our Names of Jesus sections

• Using Art Printables to add beauty without overwhelm

• Layering lettering, scripture, and art in simple, meaningful ways
