What do an old Legal textbook, a vintage algebra textbook from the 1940s, and a falling apart hymnal have in common?
They are all tools that I will use, along with some art supplies, to demonstrate how we can create beautiful art and use our artwork to tell a story.
Join me as I guide you through creating your own Mixed Media Hymnal Cross.
Here's what we will learn:
I will teach you some basics of Mixed Media
How to use found objects to create a background that tells a story & can even share your faith
How to paint some simple, and beautiful flowers
How to incorporate various elements into your artwork to give dimension texture and interest.
You will receive:
A downloadable traceable for the Cross design to print out.
A downloadable supply list (If you purchase the Optional Supply Kit, it will be shipped to you)
Access to our Workshop Hub with pre-recorded video lessons and Zoom Gathering replays to watch at your convenience
Optional Supply Kit is Available
We have several items that are exclusively from the Studio of Pam Coxwell! Including antique pages, she has collected from receipt books, school textbooks, Hymnals, & accounting books (Yes! some are almost 100 years old)
We've carefully curated the contents of your kit to be color-coordinated with your painting.
Paint is not included in the Kit due to supply & demand issues, as well as logistics, BUT we have guides, videos, & tips on how to choose your perfect colors!
