Pause, Reflect, & Recharge Through Creativity

Before the busy season arrives, let’s take time to pause, reflect, and recharge through creativity. The Be Still and Know workshop is an invitation to connect with God in a quiet, creative space where you can express your faith and deepen your understanding of His Names.  Using inspiration from my own flower garden, I’ve created line art of some of my sunflowers and zinnias for you to paint.

In this 4-day workshop, we will focus on creating a beautiful scripture art journal that explores the Names of God. Each day we will:

• Reflect on a different Name of God through lettering, paper crafting, and mixed media techniques.
• Paint a new bouquet each day to add to your journal using watercolor paint.
• Create a beautiful sunflower cover using mixed media techniques and with paper crafting techniques we will create sections in your journal to record your reflections and practice lettering.
• Connect with God through prayer and praise, using your journal as a tool for spiritual growth and to make a record of Who He Is and His faithfulness in your life. 

On the final day, we’ll come together to create a Name of God collage, bringing all of your work into a powerful visual reminder of who God is.

One of the highlights of the workshop is learning how to paint your own bouquet of flowers inspired by my own garden using watercolor techniques. Sunflowers will serve as the perfect symbol of joy and gratitude as we reflect on God's goodness and beauty.
